Peeled Tigernuts Vs Unpeeled Tigernuts … what’s the difference?

Think of these little guys like a blanched versus a regular almond. Peeled tigernuts have had their outer husk removed. This makes them a little less chewy, a little easier to a eat and a little more nude!!

the standard unpeeled tigernut does not need to be peeled before eating. It is just slightly more chewy and a little bit sweeter.

Both peeled and unpeeled make a fantastic snack, but we prefer to use the standard unpeeled tigernut for making Tigernut Mylk as it has a fuller flavour and creates a beautiful creamy texture!
